When regional managers need different views than HQ
Head office often wants rolled-up comparisons. Regional managers want context: weather, local events, staffing gaps, and the prior year’s same week. Both needs are legitimate; forcing one layout usually fails both audiences.
Design role-based views that share a KPI dictionary. The definition of “on-time delivery” should match everywhere, even if the regional screen shows route-level detail that HQ never opens.
Use the same color and status language across views so a number that looks concerning in Nonthaburi still looks concerning when rolled into the national pack.
Agree in writing which view is authoritative in leadership reviews. Ambiguity here creates duplicate “official” numbers and erodes trust quickly.
Revisit the split after two review cycles. Regional teams will tell you which columns they skip; that feedback is more valuable than another speculative redesign.
